❝Always have something to wear with these basic summer staples.❞ So right now it literally can't stop won't stop raining outside which makes it kind of hard to write an summer related article since you're just not in the perfect summer mood... but I really wanted this article to be up today as a summer inspiration for you, so here you go.
Stick to the #basics!
Girls, let's be honest! We all know this struggle when having a closet full of stuff but still nothing to wear. With these 5 basic summer staples it'll make it a lot easier for you to always have something to wear. You just need to focus on the basics, no prints, no crazy cuts - just basics! So let's go:
1. M A X I D R E S S
I can't even tell you how thankful I am that someone invented maxi dresses. Seriously, they are SO freaking practical during summer. Literally every time I have nothing to wear, I chose my black maxi dress and I'm ready to go. Best thing about maxi dresses: You don't always have to have freshly shaved legs, cause nobody is going to see them! And we all know how annoying it gets to always have shaved legs.
2. L A C E B R A L E T
Lace bralets are definitely one of my favorite trends this season. They are so versatile and practical for summer. You can either wear them as a bra underneath your clothes which is so much more comfortable than a normal wire bra or you can actually wear them as a top with a high waisted skirt or shorts.
3. D E N I M S H O R T S
I think I don't have to say that much about denim shorts besides that every woman just need at least one. You can not only wear them super casual, you can actually dress them up pretty nice as well.
4. P L A Y S U I T
I actually can't imagine a summer without playsuits. They are SO easy to wear since you literally just have to throw on one piece and you're good to go. You don't have to think about what top to combine with what pants which makes it so easy in the morning to get ready.
5. L I T T L E B L A C K D R E S S
As I was mentioning in my previous article, sometimes it just has to be black, even in summer. So a little black dress definitely has to be in every basic summer wardrobe. You can combine it with some colorful shoes, bags or sunglasses to bring the summer feeling back in.
