I know this might sounds like a little nightmare to some of you but sometimes you just have to jump above the shadow and leave your comfort zone and just DO IT! I always used to keep everything just in case I'll start wearing it again... Well, it never happened.
My tip: If you haven't worn something for a year and you're not sure if you should keep it or not, you should get rid of it 'cause you are probably not going to wear it again.

If your sorted things are still in a really good condition, brand new or designer you should definitely sell them. Spring cleaning your closet and getting some extra money... Sounds good, huh?
My tip: If you're from Germany, Austria or Switzerland you should try ''Kleiderkreisel''. I've sold so many things on there in the past and it's really easy to use as well. If you have some expensive designer pieces to sell I would recommend you to search for a local designer second hand store because they can actually buy the stuff from you and sell it to their customers or you can try eBay which is always the fastest way I guess. But be careful with the guidelines, sometimes you have to pay fees.

Now that your closet is cleaned out you can start with the fun part: Color coordinate! A color coordinated closet is so much easier to use and much prettier to look at. I can't even remember the time my closet was not color coordinated. It makes things so much easier in the morning when you are searching your outfit for the day and it always gives the feeling you have your own little boutique.
My tip: Don't mix the colors like crazy! Think about the colors of the rainbow and start with the lightest to the darkest.

Especially if you have a lot clothing you should definitely organize your clothes in groups. Blouses to blouses, blazers to blazers, pants to pants etc. Will makes it a lot easier to find things!

Try to only use the same hangers in your whole closet, not mixing and matching all different ones. It will look much more tidy that way. I love to use white hangers for a more clean look.
My tip: If you're a creative person and you love DIY's you can get some pretty lace or satin ribbon and tie it as a bow around the top of your hangers. That's a cute little decoration idea if you're having a hanging rail for you favorite pieces.

Before you're putting all your stuff back in your closet, don't forget to buff away all the dust and deep clean the shelves. You'll be surprised how much dust will come off!
Happy Spring Cleaning! xo
