HELLO DECEMBER

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE... Oh, hello dear december. Long time no see. I can't even describe to you how happy I am that we're finally and officially on december. It's by far my favorite month of the year. Not only because it's the month of christmas (well, of course that's one big thing...) but more because of the whole pre-christmas and wintery atmosphere. Snowflakes, beautiful christmas lights, hot chocolates, cozy outfits, festive shopping... and there's so much more. I wish that time would last forever... One thing that comes with the beginning of winter: Outfit changes. It's not that easy anymore to style and create new looks every day as it's just way too cold (at least where I live) and you basically wanna cuddle up in a huge fluffy blanket with over the knee socks every single day.

But there are a few tips and tricks how to look fashionable in winter. Actually it's not really that hard you just need to focus on the basics. Hats, gloves, scarfs, fluffy jackets and coats... But where to find all of those pieces in one place? I have a little tip for you and you will not regret it. Esprit is really improving their collections from year to year and they're having the cutest winter accessories and all you need to keep you warm during snowy december days. My favorites are definitely these super fluffy and cozy faux fur coats which are a absolute must-have this season. You can find the whole collection HERE - Happy shopping! xx

SNEAKER ADDICT

TREND ALERT: CONVERSE! Let's be honest ladies... I know we all love our heels to death but what's better than having comfortable feet while running around all day and still looking fashionable and up-to-date? Well, with Converse you can never go wrong, that's for sure. I'm not quite sure when they got invented but it has to be years and years ago. Since I'm a little child, I remember, I always had Converse around me just because they were so comfortable, practical and quite affordable as well. Over the last couple of years they became a huge trend in the fashion industry and we saw them all around the runways and on many celebrities just like Rihanna and Beyonce.

Another thing is that the once so simple Converse sneaker is so much more than ''just'' a simple casual shoe - You can sport these fabulous shoes with so many different styles. The range is big and goes from simple and casual to edgy and classy. Even paired with a cute dress, you are definitely up-to-date. I've had many different Converse throughout my life but I like the classic standard one the most. But where to get your perfect pair of Converse? Online shops are the key. Vaola is having a great selection of many different pairs, styles and colors. You can check out the whole Converse selection right HERE.

COATED PANTS

ALMOST LOOKS LIKE LEATHER Today's topic is about coated pants which are another huge fall trend this season. Well, maybe it's not only a fall trend but let's be honest; these pants just suits fall season the most. You can create so many looks with them and it's finally a little change from the leather pants. Now, don't get me wrong, I love leather pants and they're definitely a must have in every closet especially for fall and winter. But, it's good to simply have some change sometimes. Especially for me as I was running around in leather pants almost every day last year around this time. If you never heard about coated pants you'll need to change that asap! They're this kind of thicker almost leather-ish material but still not as thick as leather pants - a good in between I would say. I believe coated jeans were already on the market two years ago but I never really paid attention to them until now. Even the selection in the stores is getting bigger and you'll see them everywhere.

FITTED COAT

THE FALL MUST-HAVE Today we are talking about the most important and practical fashion piece for fall season. What would we do without nice fitted coats at this time of the year? Right, nothing. Weather is getting cooler, darker and more uncomfortable but obviously we don't already want to pull out our big winter coats. Fall is basically the season made for those little fitted coats (or jackets). Sometimes it doesn't need much as you can tie it together around your waist for a more feminine look and you basically don't have to worry about putting together a whole outfit. Don't worry about your outfit looking boring because these fitted coats are an absolutely trend piece this season. Jackets and coats in general and in all different varieties are THE key piece for a fashionable fall. They're looking fabulous on their own, are super easy to wear and your look doesn't need much more to be completed.

PRINTED

IT’S HAT SEASON Ladies, get your hats out! Another typical fall accessory, if not the most important: Hats. I actually planned on waiting a bit longer with my first hat look this year as we are having ‘’hat weather’’ for months and months over here and I wanted to avoid spamming you with loads of hat looks… but I was just way too excited. I have to say that I’ve collected quite a big hat selection over the past couple of years so it was kind of hard to chose the first one of the year. But at the end, I went with my favorite and the most classy one I have. Black is basically the hat color to go for. Matches everything and it’s for sure always an stylish eye-catcher. But how to wear a hat? Or how to combine it? Well, it’s actually very simple. You can actually combine a hat to SO many different looks. From casual to elegant - the range is super big and they’re basically no rules.

I decided to go with the chic variant for the first look just because it’s my favorite. I always loved the combination of those cigarette pants paired with hats in different styles as seen in plenty of fashion magazines, so I thought I’ll give it a try. And there you go - I really like it. Perfect for meetings or even work if you’re having a more chic dress-code. Good thing: You can easily switch up the pumps with some elegant flats for more comfort during the day. To make this look complete I chose a super cozy yet chic cashmere sweater, which immediately brings me to the next fall trend: Cashmere. See, it’s crazy how many cool trends this season is offering us.

LEATHER FRINGES

LEATHER FRINGES So first thing first: I just realized that this look today is all about the fringes as well. But today we’re taking it to another level. Leather!!! Leather is literally THE number #1 thing to go for in fall and with that I mean all different kind of leathers, doesn’t always have to be the typical black leather jacket. Why not spice it up a little bit and try something different? Last year I was on a hunt for the perfect leather skirt but haven’t found the perfect one. This season I think I finally found it. And it’s not only just a leather skirt, no, it’s a leather skirt with fringes which is definitely something new for me. If you’ve read my previous article which was all about the fringes then you already know my opinion on that. Short: I love them!

Fringes are just a great thing and they can be so flattering for us women. If you’re walking they’re swinging from one side to the other and just looking super pretty and feminine, if you combine the right accessories. Well, actually you don’t really need much as fringes are wonderful on their own which is why I tried to keep this look as simple as possible with just a few details. Starting off with the braid, I decided to finally wear my hair different again since I always had it up in a sleek ponytail lately. The hairstyle of a look can actually make a huge difference to the whole outfit especially when you’re wearing less accessories. I don’t know why but I always feel like fall is the season made for hairstyles, especially braids. Next thing: The jacket. You can basically never go wrong with a little structured jacket. I really love the pocket and zip details of this one which is another thing why you don’t really need other jewelry. Some things are just simply eye-catching on it’s own.

FRINGES

LACE AND FRINGES I am currently sitting in the train and writing this article for you as I am going on a little trip to see one of my closest friends. It’s not always easy to see your friends regularly when your living in different cities all over the country… I think some of you might know this struggle? But I do think it’s even more exciting then, if you’re seeing them after a long period of time. So I think you can imagine how happy I am to have her back in my arms in less than three hours. This train is driving so freaking fast that I’m constantly having the feeling I’m in an airplane, which is a great feeling, no complaining at all. I am having a very fancy seat and no one besides me but I’m actually struggling with the direction of my seat right now. Do you know these trains where some seats are faced forwards and some backwards? Well, I’m actually driving backwards now which is kind of a weird feeling but oh well.

But now let’s talk about fashion and today’s look. As you can see and probably tell by the title, it’s all about the fringes today. Fringes are definitely one of my favorite things in fall. And this is also another huge trend we’re facing this season. I’ve been seeing fringes everywhere lately in all different kind of variations. Doesn’t matter if it’s a bag, shoes, clothing or even jewelry. It feels like you can add fringes to everything. I am not a big fan of these kind of ‘’countryside’’ fringes look if you know what I mean but there are so many other options to wear and combine fringes and I’m showing you today the more elegant option which is my personal favorite. If you look close you’ll see that this look is based on a quite simple base with some coated black skinny jeans and a top with lace detail. Just by adding the right accessories AND this amazing jacket you can achieve this elegant yet comfortable look. If you chose another bag, maybe a bigger one, this look is definitely made for everyday wear.

BEGINNING OF AUTUMN

FEELS SO GOOD Now we can officially say it: It's autumn!!! A few days ago the calendar kicked of the best season (at least for fashion) of the year. Let's get out our fluffy vests and oversized sweaters - it's the best and coziest time. Autumn comes with so many trend pieces and I know I've already told you about that but I always find another one which I really like. I have already said it about the leather jacket and the fur vest but today it's all about the ankle booties.

What would we do without shoes? What would a WOMAN do without shoes? Well, that's a good one, right?... I think it's especially us women who are the biggest shoeaholics. I mean, we always want them in every color possible and in every style possible. Doesn't matter if we're already having a very similar pair - we still want them. Shoes can make us so happy! And now it's finally time again to wear all these cute little booties which are my absolute favorite. I like the pointed ones with a heel the most just because they're the most elegant and always looking chic. Comfortable? No, not really though... But hey, that's the pain we have to take as long as it looks good. Thankfully there are a lot of other cute and flat booties which reminds me of getting a pair! I just realized a few days ago that I'm not owning a pair of black flat booties. Shame one me.

COZY CHIC

BLACK AND GREEN Like I said in the previous article, I am going to show you some more looks wearing this vest as I am absolutely in love with her. You can't even imagine how fluffy she is. Like seriously, I could constantly touch her. I don't know if it's the right form to call a vest ''she'' but since she's going to be my best friend this autumn we'll just leave it like that for now... But anyway - Today's look is all about the cozy chic for everyday errands. What's better than feeling cozy and comfortably during a typical day where you're running around from one place to another? Right, nothing. The key is to style those looks with some chic accessories for the extra touch of elegance even though you didn't put much effort in it.

This look is based on a super simple and casual look: Skinny jeans and comfy sweater. Just by adding an elegant fur vest, black sunglasses, a nice bag and a sleek ponytail you can achieve this more chic and elegant look but not having to dress up fully and still being comfortably during the day. I have to say that my shoes weren't the best idea since I was running around for hours and they really started to hurt my feet at the end of the day. I'll definitely chose the flat ones for the next time, that's for sure... Sometimes the heel doesn't have to be that high to hurt your feet I'm telling you. Oh, and when they're not having a platform, like mine, then the game get's even worse. So always try to chose those with at least a small platform - that way your feet has more of a protection especially if you're walking around for hours.

THE VEST

FEELS LIKE AUTUMN Autumn brings us lots of lovely trends with his appearance... One of my all time favorites has to be the vest. And more precisely: The fur vest. It doesn't matter if it's a real or faux one - it just has to be fluffy. They're not only looking super fashionable, a fur vest really comes in handy especially in the autumn time. Some days are still quite warm so you don't want to pull out your big jacket already? A stylish fluffy vest is the answer. You can either combine it just with a blouse or with a cozy sweater underneath. I actually planned on buying a black fur vest last year, but I just couldn't find the right one. So it was basically the number one thing on my wish list for this season. Well, as you can see and in perfect timing for autumn I found the perfect one from Mondelli. They're having a big selection of all different colors so there's definitely one for everybody's taste.

IT'S GETTING COZY

COFFEE TO GO The title of this article already says it all basically... It's getting cozy over here which finally means: Turtleneck sweaters!!! It was one of those days where it was kind of chilly, cloudy and you just wanted to walk around with a simple yet chic look. Feeling cozy and warm with the turtleneck sweater and a warm Starbucks drink on-the-go. Starbucks is great at any time and at any season but let's be honest... When it get's cold, a warm drink to go can really save your life. Well, at least a little bit. I've never been a fan of coffee so it's always tea for me OR even better - hot chocolate. Have you ever tried their caramel hot chocolate? Or the hazelnut one? Even though I don't like either caramel or hazelnuts on their own, I find those two super delicious.

As you can tell, it's another all black look - shame on me. Or maybe not? I mean, all black is great and it's actually not always that easy... But I've talked about that way too much already in previous article so we're skipping this step now. I am so happy to get the turtlenecks back on. Did you know that they've been worn for hundred of years? At least back to the 15th century which is a crazy long time. It all started with a very small and tight fitting turtleneck but now, as the trend is getting bigger and bigger each season, the range is very big. I love those oversized turtlenecks where you can almost hide yourself and just feel super cozy. And you can wear them with a lot of different things, don't always has to be a pair of skinny jeans. Try it our with a cute skirt and some tights and your fall look is completed.

WHEN IN SANSSOUCI

A POP OF COLOR This past saturday we decided to go to Sanssouci again for a shooting and just some relaxing time off from the city. When living in the middle of a big city days like these are much appreciated from time to time... The weather was absolutely beautiful and it was honestly almost too hot for this look. Wished I was wearing some sandals but oh well... I think you know how much I love buildings and architecture like this, so it was obvious for me to shoot right in front of the castle. I always get a little speechless in front of old gorgeous buildings, isn't it just stunning how every little details is so old and has so much history behind? Alright, so I'm getting way too historic now... back to the fashion.

I'm not sure if you can really call this an all black look but that wasn't even what I was going for. I wanted to show you once again (I think I did some looks like this in the past) how you can ad a pop of color to any all neutral look. Sometimes you're in the mood for an all black look but still want to have a little bit of color in? Well, this is perfect then. It don't always has to be the bag, you can really play around with the accessories and make them stand out by choosing a vibrant color. It can go from shoes and bag to a statement colorful necklace, sunglasses or even a hat. By the way... while thinking about hats, it's that time of the year again so get them hats out!!! I decided to go with a colorful bag for this look because I love how it can change the whole look, at least a little bit. Definitely need to get my hands on another colorful bag to pair with all black.

FALL IS ALL ABOUT...

...THE KNEE HIGH BOOTS I can't even tell you how happy I am that fall weather finally arrived over here in Berlin. Like seriously. I love this kind of weather so much. I know that fall isn't here officially yet... but still. The weather's all that matters. Today's topic is all about the knee high boots which are one of my fall season must-haves. I just realized that I'm actually wearing two of my fall must-haves in this look: Leather jacket and knee high boots but since I already talked about my love for leather jackets so many times, it's only about the boots today. These ones I'm wearing in this look are actually from last years collection since I haven't found a pair of the new collections yet... but I still love them to death. Well, maybe not to death as they are a little bit (or a little bit more...) uncomfortable when you're walking a long time.

I don't really know why since the heel isn't that bad and it's a thicker one which is always supposed to be more comfortable but oh well... I still really like them. But where does the knee-high-boot come from? Sometimes also called over-the-knee boot they were originally created for men as a riding boot in the 15th century. In the 20th century the style was redefined as a women's fashion boot. I think since then they've been quite popular but they are definitely getting bigger and bigger each season. I think the question is always: How to wear knee-high boots? Well, the answer is quite simple. You can wear them with almost everything! Doesn't matter if it's a casual or elegant look or something in between, a knee-high boot is always a good idea. You just have to look at the style from the boots. Are they flat or high heeled? Sometimes even the material matters. Mine for example are made out of this beautiful black velour leather which can be both chic and casual. My personal favorite way to style knee-high boots is definitely elegant with tights and a dress but you'll definitely see many more different fall looks with these boots.

AUTUMN NIGHT

THE PERFECT TRENCH Autumn is the season all about coats. More precisely trench coats. The trench coat has been the IT-piece for several seasons now and is getting more trendy every year. The invention of the trench coat is claimed by both Burberry and Aquascutum but most of us only thinking about Burberry when talking about trench coats. Why? Because they're definitely making the most perfect ones of all time. Super expensive but super classy. But it doesn't always has to be this ''typical'' kind of trench in khaki tones and loads of buttons. There are so many different designs of trench coats right now where you can easily find the perfect one for you. I've always loved the combination of black with leather sleeves.

Maybe you can remember but two years ago I had a very similar coat with leather sleeves which wasn't really a trench though... This one is from Zara as well and I have to say that they're really having an eye for making good leather sleeves designs (even though this is faux leather). I love the cut of this trench, it's so flattering and goes with both elegant and casual. I wanted to create a more elegant look so you can see how much variety this trench has. Black tights, black dress, black heels and this trench is the perfect elegant autumn combination for me. And yes, all black, again. At least I tried to not having it ALL ALL black so I chose a light grey mini bag. So the end of the story is that a trench coat like this can be basically worn all day long starting of casual during the day and then dressing it up elegant at night. The perfect must-have piece to have in your autumn wardrobe, right?

THE MINI BAG

NEW SEASON It's official!!! September is here and brought us perfect autumn weather which mean I can finally show you all the autumn looks I've already planned. I can't say it enough, I am more than happy that this crazy heat wave is finally over. Now it's time to jump right into the new season with many new looks in mind. But the new season brings also another exciting topic: Fashion Week. The beginning of autumn always means London, Paris and New York fashion week and I will probably be at LFW. It's not fixed yet but I really want to go as I've never been to London before and always wanted to visit. What better occasion then for fashion week?

This outfit I'm showing you today is definitely a perfect autumn look. I absolutely love this fuzzy jacket as it's super cozy which is great for cooler autumn days or evenings and it looks super cute paired with a nice blouse. But as the title of this article is already saying - we're talking about mini bags today. Ever since I got my little Alma BB from Louis Vuitton I am in love with mini bags. They're a perfect little eye-catcher to every look and they totally come in handy. Especially for those autumn days where you're already wearing a lot of stuff you don't always want to carry a big bag with you... That's why I love the mini bags so much. You can wear them cross body, only take with you what you really need and it looks really nice paired with jackets or coats. They're are just so easy to wear and to combine. The only downside would be that you really can't fit much in there which can be a true struggle for us women... But hey, we have to make compromises sometimes, even in fashion.

CASUAL CHIC

THE PERFECT SHAPED BLAZER I think I've told you enough times how much I love those casual chic looks, right? In my opinion they're just the best from the best. Nothing is more daytime wearable. Having an outfit on point looking chic yet feeling super comfortable is the key. As I'm always saying, fashion is a game and you can change the rules every day but some simple things are just facts that can't be changed. I'm not saying that this is always the case but most of the time, less is definitely more. Especially if we are talking about daywear. Who doesn't want to stay comfortable during a long day but still having an chic outfit which looks like a lot effort? I really do believe that sometimes, we are thinking way too much about an look.

Most of the time on a daily bases it's better to just stick to the good old basics because you can never go wrong with them. I don't know how many times I've talking about basics and key pieces but that's such an important topic in the fashion world. Every good outfit is based on at least one basic. This outfit I'm wearing today is one fully based on basics, lol. Skinny jeans, simple plain white shirt and a perfect shaped blazer - which brings me to my next point: The blazer. Besides a perfect pair of skinny jeans (I was talking about that in my last article HERE) a black blazer with a perfect shape for your figure is also very important. It's a perfect piece to built up an outfit and makes every oh-so-casual look a little bit more chic looking. With a blazer it's kind of similar to skinny jeans - they are so many different shapes and textures so everyone is able to find their perfect one. I really like it when a blazer has this structured kind of look and a little bit of shoulder pads with a casual yet sophisticated look to it.

SKINNY JEANS

HOW TO FIND YOUR PAIR OF... Skinny Jeans. Since some years now they've become THE key piece in every woman's closet. Or let's say it that way: No closet is completed without a perfect pair of skinny jeans. But how to find the perfect one for you? For your body and for your silhouette? Well, it's actually quite easy but you do have to look for some things. A few days ago I realized that I don't have a perfect pair of skinny jeans (only some old ones that don't fit me anymore or I've worn to death) so I decided to give it a try again and search for my perfect skinny jeans. I knew that I didn't want a plain one so I looked for slightly destroyed ones in particular. Since I absolutely hate buying jeans in stores, having to try them one is always such a struggle... I think you know what I mean. Exhausting as hell if you're running from one store to another and trying one several jeans.

This time it went pretty fast though and I just had to go to one store until I found her. When searching for skinny jeans you have to keep in mind that they are three different ones: Super skinny, skinny and straight (I know some people might say straight is not skinny, but for me personally, these jeans that are called ''straight'' are looking skinny as well). I prefer the super skinny ones just because I like it when it's really tight and fitting down on the ankle. Next thing would be the color, or better said the washing. I think if you're searching for THE perfect skinny jeans it has to be a typical blue jean one just because every woman should have at least one in her closet and you can combine it with basically everything. Casual or elegant - both works. Another thing you have to keep in mind is the waist. Low rise, medium rise, high rise? That totally depends on your body type and figure. Especially those low rise jeans are not really flattering for most of us so I always prefer medium or high rise. This one is a medium rise which makes it perfect for everyday wear and you don't have to worry that much about eating too much, because we all know the struggle when wearing high rise jeans and eating too much, right? Medium rise is much better then.

THE JACQUARD DRESS

ALL BLACK EVERYDAY Autumn? I'm definitely ready for you. I think I've told you this at least one time before but I actually wasn't a dress person years back, at all. I was always wearing jeans and pants in general... maybe sometimes a skirt but dresses? No, not really. These last couple of months or even years I got more and more into a dresses lover and even have a little collection now. I'm always on the hunt for new daytime wearable casual yet chic dresses and especially now with autumn waiting right around the corner I really wanted to have a perfect autumn dress which you can wear on a daily bases. This jacquard dress is perfect and immediately caught my eye whole browsing around online.

I think the jacquard fabric is going to be a huge trend this season and I absolutely love the look of it, especially for dresses. This dress has the perfect shape because it's so simple and almost like a shirt dress. It's short sleeve which is perfect for wearing a blazer or leather jacket on top of it when layering. Jacquard is a fabric with an intricately woven pattern which always reminds me a little bit of the baroque style. Also, the pattern is not printed or dyed on like most of the clothing, it's incorporated into the weave which makes it look very high-quality. You can find the jacquard fabric basically on everything - dresses, pants, shirts, jackets... and there's something for every budget. What I really like about the jacquard fabric is that it's kind of thicker which makes it even more perfect for autumn and winter season. For this look I wanted to go for a more casual but still chic look so I decided to go with black tights and flat elegant shoes. It's super easy to change up the look tho... just throw on a pair of pumps and maybe a blazer.

FLOWING WAISTCOAT

NEW FOR FALL With fall waiting for us right around the corner we have to check out the newest fall trends now. Being up-to-date in fashion is not always easy, but if you start early enough, you'll be alright. Right now the weather over here in Berlin is still crazy hot but I already planned and wanted to show you some fall inspired looks. Probably one of the biggest trends for this upcoming fall season is the waistcoat. Inspired by our beloved men it's THE new it-piece in so many variations. I have to admit that it wasn't love at first sight for me... but after some time always seeing it online while browsing around I kind of got into it. I gave it a try, ordered it and fell in love. This little thing is so versatile and can be worn in so many different ways and it's perfect for layering.

And let's be honest: Fall is all about layering, isn't it? It's by far my favorite season when it comes to fashion and I know I'm saying this all the time but it's just the truth. You can get the most out of the newest trends for fall because the weather allows you to do it. It's not too hot and not too cold so you can really play around with all different materials and textures. For this look I decided to wear the waistcoat on top of a white blouse so you can see the contrast. But that's just one way to combine this piece. You can also wear it just on top of a simple top or underneath a leather jacket for that extra silhouette. You can wear it open like I did for a more casual look or knotted for a more business kind of look. The range is huge and goes from short to long, from oversized to fitted and from casual to elegant. I love how one piece can be designed in so many different ways and for every style suitable.

LEATHER & LACE

THE HAPPINESS NECKLACE In this article we are talking leather & lace and a little bit about happiness. Happiness and more precisely about the happiness boutique which is an Berlin based online shop with a gorgeous selection of statement jewelry. From necklaces to earrings - they have something for every one and every taste. It was quite hard for me to choose one because as you might know I am a huge admirer of statement jewelry. It's just the perfect way to add an extra touch of glamour to an oh-so-simple look. Of course I had to go with a super classy design since I love to style those pieces to as many outfits as possible. This necklace will seriously go with anything and any occasion. Just think about it - there are so many different ways. All casual with a pair of skinny jeans and a plain jersey shirt? Pair it with a statement necklace and it'll look fabulous. All dressed up already with a sexy lace dress and a leather jacket? Combined with a statement piece like I did today it gives the whole look an extra touch of glamour.

As the title of this article is already saying (and it might sounds a little like ''fifty shades of gray''...) we are not only talking about statement jewelry today. This jacket you've seen in the previous article also paired with something lacy. I really loved the combination with leather and lace so I wanted to create another, more elegant look with those two materials. We all know that one saying: ''You can never go wrong with a little black dress'' and I've probably said it so many times in the past... but a little black dress AND it's made out of lace - it's even better. Lace is for sure one of my favorite (or even my #1 favorite) material. It can look so sexy and feminine but still so laid-back and casual. Just depends on how you style it. I loved the contrast of leather paired with lace so I decided to go for it one more time but with a whole different look. A dress combined with a leather jacket is not only my favorite thing to do... it's also super easy but still always chic. Of course you could wear a more elegant and fitted leather jacket with it but I wanted to go for this contrast and chose a more casual and little oversized biker jacket. For everyday wear you can totally wear some nice flats with it and change into your heels for a special occasion or a night out.

LACY

THE BIKER JACKET Today we are talking all about the perfect biker leather jacket. Doesn't matter if it's real or fake leather. It just has to be a biker inspired style. I can't think back to a autumn season where biker jackets weren't on trend but I really think this trend is getting bigger and bigger each season. Did you know that the leather jacket has become popular in the later-half of the 20th century? We are living in the 21st century now so that really is a long looong time. Over the years designers and labels came out with so many different styles and cuts for the biker jacket and with that there is one style for everybody. I think my personal favorite style is the typical one with silver zips, pockets, those padded shoulders and a belt for a even more edgy look.

Since I don't like to wear my biker jackets all zipped up I prefer to have it all loose and hanging around. I love how the open belt thing is giving the whole look a more laid-back and casual touch. But where to find the perfect biker jacket? Well, the range is huge so we have to sort it out by money first. Do you want to incest in a really good quality and real leather biker jacket? Or is a faux leather one also an option for you? I have to admit that it doesn't really matters for me if it's real or fake leather as soon as it looks good in general. There are SO many good fake leather jackets out there (my favorite place to find them is hand down, Zara) so you will definitely find the perfect one for you. I even experienced once that a fake leather one can be much better looking than a real one. Of course, not in every case but there are some really good ones you just have to search for them and keep your eyes open. If you've found the right one for you there are really no limits or rules when it comes to styling. Casual, chic or elegant, formal, business or even combined with some sweatpants. Let's make the long story short: Every woman needs one perfect biker jacket in her closet.

EASY BREEZY

ON THE WATER I’m sitting in the car right now typing this article with music turned on loud. We are on our way to a family BBQ in the garden from my mom’s cousin. Feels like this is going to be a whole family weekend as I was spending the whole day yesterday with my family as well. Tomorrow is sunday and I am back to work then for some new shootings. Maybe you’ve noticed that it wasn’t really regular these past couple of days on the Trendique and that’s simply because of this unbelievable heat. We basically had no chance to shoot new looks because the heat wave was killing us. Literally. Of course I am not complaining about summer but this is just too much. Now we are praying that it’s not going to be rainy tomorrow as it’s supposed to cool down a little bit the next days. But if I’m completely honest I would love to have some rain.

This look I’m showing you today is a casual super comfortable one I was wearing yesterday for a day out at the water. When living in Berlin you have the pleasure to have several seas around and in the city. I think that’s even a thing Berlin is known for… Don’t want to turn this article in a city guide know, lol, but Berlin really has two totally different sides. On the one hand this huge, loud and touristic capital and on the other hand this green, full of nature and relaxing areas. But enough said about Berlin… Let’s talk about this outfit. As we all know it can get super hard to find the right outfit for this kind of weather but if you keep it all as simple as possible and stick to the basics - you should be alright. I ordered this casual gray jumpsuit the other day and I have to say that something like this is perfect. So easy yet so stylish. You don’t really need much for this look as we are going for a casual and laid back look but if you want to, you can totally dress it up. For example: you can combine a belt to enhance and highlight your waist or you can really play around with jewelry. I wanted to keep the focus all on the jumpsuit so I just kept it as simple as possible.

FALL MOOD: ON!

STILL SUMMER BUT DREAMING ABOUT FALL Am I the only one wishing it was already fall? I’m not quite sure about that. I have to say that this extreme heat is totally getting on my nerves. And not only that… I have already so many fall outfit ideas and just can’t wait to wear and show you them. Fall always has been my favorite season when it comes to fashion. I mean, you have so many more options and layering is the key. Since it looks like it’s going to stay that hot for at least the next week I’m just going to try to show you some summer looks but inspired and combined with some fall pieces. Of course I wan’t wearing the leather jacket the whole day otherwise I would’ve been probably dead by now… But I still wanted to show you how simple you can combine a leather jacket with a playsuit.

I’ve probably said it so many times before but playsuits are just so versatile and easy to combine. I truly think that every woman should have at least one in her closet that fits her perfectly just for those days when you don’t know what to wear… Just grabbing one piece and good to go. If you wanna make it more interesting and outstanding you can make the playsuit game strong just by adding some of your favorite key pieces. Since I’m already thinking about fall all day long I just had to pair it with my beloved leather jacket. As we all know, a classy leather jacket can be simply worn with everything. It doesn’t only has to be casual - you can really dress it up. Next thing: Shoes. Now, I actually really wanted to pair some black booties but this would’ve been just one thing too much in this crazy heat as I was already sweaty like a pig because of the jacket. I believe these pumps were from the last A/W collection so they were another great fall key piece for this look. And last but not the least: The accessories. A good fox tail is everything. They are a great eye-catcher for every look and you can always put them on the bag you need. You are definitely going to see these in a lot more fall looks.

LADY IN RED

HOW TO WEAR A RED DRESS A few months and years ago I would've never pictures myself wearing a red dress. I honestly never thought about it and never really saw one either. But as you know, with the summer heat wave being back and the sun's out all day long I am just back in the colorful mood and need some color in my looks. This dress is quite new but I did wore it once before for fashion week. Remember? I should've better made it a little series on ''how to wear a red dress'' because for fashion week I was combining it totally different. But let's start of with the story about this dress. I found it super randomly in the Zara sale section hanging on the rack between so many different colorful dresses but this color immediately caught my eye. I think it was even the only one left and in my size. I love that it had this super casual look to it which makes it easy to wear it many different ways.

This dress or basically any dress shaped like this is perfect for you ladies who want to enhance your body features and figure. But the thing I like the most about it is simply it's changeability. Those dresses can be seriously worn to any occasion you can imagine. Think about it, you can wear it super casual with sneakers and maybe a leather jacket or denim jacket or casual yet a little bit more elegant with some flats and a more dressier bag like I did in this look. You can dress it up for special occasion when pairing it with nice pumps or heeled sandals and maybe a nice fitted blazer. Even if I'm thinking about a wedding you could actually wear this dress (when there's no special dress code of course). You just need to remember that it's always all about the details and the right accessories. This dress is so simple and easy to style that you just have to find the right way to combine it differently for the occasion. If the weather stays like this, an I'm sure it will, you'll probably going to see this dress one more time but combined differently for the third time.

RIPPED DENIM

PURPLE FEVER This outfit was actually from over a week ago when it was still pretty chilly outside. Like I said in the previous article, the heat wave totally got us back and it would be wayyy to hot for a sweater with jeans. I really wanted to show you this look though so I thought I just squeeze it in right now. I was always a big fan of sweaters paired with a pair of jeans but especially when you're a huge admire of elegant looks you have to try to bring some more elegance with shoes and accessories into the whole look. Normally I wouldn't even think of wearing pumps with a look like this but it was a great way to add some more elegance. Since I don't wear many accessories the bag was another way for more chicness just because the little Alma looks super classy and elegant yet brings a little edgy side in when you wear her cross body.

Those looks are so simple and perfect for transforming from day to night or from family time to meeting time. During the day you could just pair it with a bigger bag where you can fit all your stuff in and some flats. For the night or business meetings you can just add a pair of heels and a more feminine and elegant bag and you are ready to go. We shot these pictures in an area where you can find mostly business women and I realized that they're mostly looking pretty much the same. It was always the typical business uniform which of course, can look super fashionable and sexy... But wouldn't it be great if if someone would change the game a little bit? Maybe a look like this with a ripped pair of jeans would be a cool new variant. Of course, some of them do have to wear this work but if not, some more different looks would be great. And let's be honest; Almost every outfit can look like a business one when you're wearing the right pumps.

CASUAL CHIC

SWEATS AND HEELS The heat wave is surprisingly back with us and we're getting up to 34° degrees again in the next few days. Am I excited about that? Nah, not really. I've already planned the first autumn looks and was super excited about booties, leather jackets and hats. But we can't beat the weather god, that's for sure. I really wanted to show you this look though so I just had to sweat like a pig while shooting because of the leather jacket. I've always wanted to try some kind of ''sweatpants paired with pumps'' look as I was seeing them quite often in different magazines or online. You may not think that sweatpants and pumps are meant to be together but they really are. Of course, not every pair of sweats is good for this combination but the casual chic look is perfect with those two pieces.

My sweatpants collection has gotten so big in the last months and years as I love wearing them when running errands etc.. I tried to always reach out to those which can be worn for both, super casual and casual chic. I actually even thought about pairing one of my Juicy Couture sweatpants which are super similar to this one but they're looking a bit more casual. Maybe they would've been too much for this kind of style. Now, when it comes to the top of this look there are two different ways. You can either pair a simple tee and a leather jacket OR even an elegant top with a blazer. I do think that this combination is not for everyone as it's quite ''interesting'' but I personally love the combination of super casual and chic. And while talking about this whole look let's give those pumps a second: Are you already mad of them? I am so sorry wearing them so often and in so many looks lately but they're just the bomb. Like seriously. This is just the most  p e r f e c t  pair of pumps for a affordable price and everybody's budget.

CLOSET DIARIES

WELCOME TO MY CLOSET As promised I am continuing with this closet diaries series and coming at you today with the second part. I don't know if I said this in the last article but I always feel so inspired browsing thru different walk in closets which you can find on TumblR or WeHeartIt. I really hope you liked the first part of this series and maybe get some inspiration from it. I am sitting at Starbucks right now typing this article and I have to say the Wifi is really not the best. I find it quite funny how every Starbucks always raves about their free Wifi but then your logged in and the connection is just terrible. I don't really know why I came here to write this article because I have perfect Wifi at home... Well, I guess it's because their unbelievable delicious Java Chip Frappuccino. Have you ever tried it? You should really give it a try!

Let's get back to the fashion part of this article. With summer slowly coming to an end and autumn waiting around the corner it's probably time for you to clean out your closet. I absolutely enjoy cleaning out my closet, or better said, reorganizing it for the next season. Autumn always have been my favorite season when it comes to fashion just because you have the most opportunities to combine different looks. At summer time I always have the struggle to combine different looks because all you wanna wear is a dress and that's it. Sometimes you even wanna go out naked just because the heat wave is going on. The struggle is real. In autumn you don't have those problems. The weather is perfect to create the best looks. Well, sometimes autumn weather here in Berlin tends to be more wintery, but o well... If you wanna reorganize your closet and make it ready for autumn I recommend doing it by color. I started this color-system a few years ago and it was the best decision ever. Not only it looks prettier when you have an open closet but you can easily find something that matches your look. You just have to look in the right color range and don't have to search thru your whole closet.

I have to say that I am not having a huge closet and a huge selection of clothing and that's simply because I always try to sell pieces that I don't wear anymore or that don't fit me anymore. This is a great way to keep your closet clear. Also, I hate looking at my closet when there's tons of stuff inside I don't feel confident with anymore. One of the most important things for always finding the perfect outfit for you is to love your closet and feel inspired by looking at it. That's also the reason why I always rearrange and redecorate some parts of my closet which you will see from now on in all these 'closet diaries'. The first article was still my summer closet and now, for the second part, I've decided to start with my ready-for-autumn cleaning and redecorating. As you can probably tell: Loads of black included. Since my black obsession already came thru in summer - I'm sure it will get even more intense when autumn has arrived so that's why I'm trying to prepare my closet with all the beautiful dark colors.
